To help cover the cost of providing the service of the Toy Library to the community, we are very grateful to those who sponsor our ongoing work. We currently have one Major Sponsor — Chairo Christian School (www.chairo.vic.edu.au), who joined us a major sponsor in 2013. Their assistance has taken considerable pressure off the Committee. It has also been an excellent association given the similar aims of Chairo and Sonshine Toy Library. We hope this association continues into the future.

 

Apple Advertisers

As mentioned on our “Opportunities to Help” page, we also have a tax-deductible sponsorship advertising opportunity available for businesses to advertise their services on our “Apple Tree” advertisers display wall. Businesses can apply by email or other methods given on our “Find Us” page… You support us by having an advertising apple at Toy Library, where we support you! For a current annual fee of $150, businesses receive:

• An A4 advertising space on our ‘apple tree’ located inside toy library
• Your business card displayed on our front counter
• Your business website linked to our website
• Your business tagged in a quarterly post on our Facebook page
• Your business listed in a quarterly email to all our contacts

Our contact list is larger than a usual toy library, it includes all the local churches and a number of schools. We have over 150 families as borrowers.

Regular Sponsors

The third method of sponsoring is by individuals contributing a small but regular amount directly into the Sonshine Toy Library account. There is a growing number of folk doing this, for which we are very grateful. These are people who believe in the aims of the library, and have seen the benefits of it to individuals and the community.
